 1.3) Viewing Class/Event Details.

  Clicking on the title of a class/event will take you to the Details page. On the details page you will be able to view all of the information that the school has included about a particular class/event.

What you will see on this page and what it means:



1)View School Profile
Click this button to find out more about the school, it's instructors, venues, and schedule.
2) Ask Instructor a Question
If you have any questions about the class, click this button to ask the instructor. Be sure to provide your contact information so that the instructor can get back to you.
3)Tell a Friend
Some classes are very interesting and you may want to get your friends to join. Click on this button and email a link to the class to all of your friends. You can also send the class to yourself so that you always have a reference to it.
4)School Name
You can click on this link to view the school's profile.
5)General Class/Event Information (top left corner)
  • Class/Event title
  • Dance(s) offered
  • Level
  • Days and times of the class/event
  • Start date of the class
  • Number of lessons offered in a class
  • 6) Venue/Location Details (top right corner)
  • Name of the venue
  • Address of the venue
  • Closest main intersection to the venue
  • General area of the venue
  • For additional details about directions, parking, the venue itself, click on the small arrow beside the venue name.
  • 7)Class/Event Details
    Provides you with information about the class, what will be covered, what you can be expected to know by the end of the class, how the class is conducted, and any other information the instructor includes.
    8)Requirements
    Outlines anything that you need to have for the class. Some requirements include particular clothing or shoes. Other requirements may relate to drop-in requirements for a progressive class. If there are any requirements, be sure to review this thoroughly before making a decision on the class.
    9)Cost
    Lists all the details about pricing for the class. You should be able to find the cost of the class, the cost of drop-ins, the cost of early registration, and any applicable discounts.
    10)Age
    Lets you know if the class is for adults, children, or all ages. Children's classes will list the age range for which the class is offered.
    11).Instructors
    Shows you who is teaching the class and any additional information such as volunteer instructors helping the class, weekly rotation of instructors, etc.
    12) Class/Event Schedule
  • Here you can view the exact dates and times for the class/event.
  • Lessons that are rescheduled or cancelled are greyed out.
  • If each lesson or time slot offers a different style of dance, is taught by a different instructor, or offers something different, you will be able to see that in the details right beside the lesson time.


  • It is important to read all of the details about the class/event you are interested in so that you are fully informed before making a decision about joining. If you have any further questions, click on the Ask Instructor link at the top of the page.
